Plant Operator (Accepting applications until filled)

Short Description:

The Plant Operator will monitor and control boilers, turbine, and auxiliary plant equipment from the control room to maintain safe, environmentally compliant, efficient and continuous plant operation.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or equivalent, plus two years
working in power plant environment as PO; or 7-10 years related experience and/or training.

Must be able to responsibly operate heavy machinery.

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the facility in accordance with all company policies and standards. Responsible for directing and supervising the Operations department and other plant personnel to ensure the facility is operated and maintained in a clean, safe and efficient manner. 

Licenses as required by Local, State, Federal, Environmental and/or Health/Safety Regulatory Agencies.
